Meet Nessa!

We found Nessa, a beautiful little sheltie/collie mix, through Pueblo Collie/Sheltie Rescue in June 2006..
or was it 2007?  I am confused about timing!.

 

So far, she is extremely shy when new people are over, but very sweet, playful and rambunctious with us and with Gracie. They are sharing bones and squeaky toys, and running amok all over the house in the early mornings.

First Big Outing:
We headed out today to the studio and Purgatory for a swim. We live five minutes away from Doug's country studio by car, then a short walk down a wooded lane, through a huge cow field, and into the lovely little Purgatory river for a dip!

Nessa is a water doggie! Gracie used to be reluctant, but today they she jumped right in!

Gracie and Nessa went straight to sleep when we got home.
Nessa is fitting into our family, very quickly. How cool!
